So SPX 2013 happened and it was wonderful?!?
Claire, Chloe, Tara, and I shared a half-table in I block, which meant we could take 2 hr shifts behind the table & spend the rest of the time wandering the floor! This was the first time most of us had tabled such a large show, so getting to stretch our legs & see our friends once in awhile really kept things from getting too overwhelming.
That’s our black & gold table (and my torso!!) in the bottommost picture.

The Martin featured in the comics above is Martin Swift, a local friend of ours who managed to garner a fair amount of attention with just the power of his butt.

Also seen above is Annie Mok, a wonderful cartoonist/artist/illustrator friend who I got to see briefly- & talk doc martens with- on the SPX floor.

These are just a handful of moments from last weekend- pt2 of my SPX comics will go up next week!! Till then, thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, chatted with us, or bought anything- you made the weekend really & truly great. <3

I’ll be at the Pittsburgh Zine Fair this weekend with all my leftover comics & prints, after which everything will go into my online store!

~stay tuned~
<3

lol dead these are so good

some finished trading cards! each is 2.5x3.5” and took anywhere from 1-6 hours. I have more unfinished ones but who knows if they’ll make it to completion

Pittsburgh’s cutest cartoonists are going to SPX! Tara Helfer, Chloe Newman, Claire Sullivan and I (Caitlin Rose Boyle) will be in Bethesda, Maryland this weekend for 2013’s Small Press Expo. Visit us at the Unicorn Mountain booth (Table I11A!) for comics, minis, prints and more!

You heard right! My fellow CMU alums/veterans and I are tabling at this year’s SPX  \(* _*)/` we’ll have tons of shit, too much for the 3ft table space we have, but I’ll be selling prints, buttons, comix, and original drawing trading cards (2.5x3.5”)!My fellow cuties are all wonderfully talented and will have just as much good stuff to share, if you’re in the neighborhood pls stop by :)

hi everyone. just wanted to throw up my newly-made society6 store, just ‘cuz.

society6.com/clairesullivan

it’s honestly mainly a temporary space until I have more prints/decide to sell original work, and then I may go to a place like big cartel. I have another update so stay tuned !

another absence, more work in progress pictures. say hello to my favorite recurring characters!

trading card size (2.5x3.5) illustrations, flexing my pen abilities after neglecting them for a while

whoa! finally! sorry about being a total slowpoke here, I’ve been done with these for a while but haven’t had much of a chance to scan n upload them

my humble contribution to the seriously insane bartkira project. done in micron pens and copic markers. I waffled a bit between sticking more closely to the Simpsons style and morphing them more into Otomo-like characters. it was fun either way, hope you like em!

(ps: I apologize for any random red schmutz in some places. school scanners, etc)
